SEC is bad. A down year. Kentucky is not much this year. This LSU team without Simmons would be a horrible team near the bottom without him, but with him they are contending. So that says a lot about the talent level in the SEC right now.

Watch games of other conferences and it'll be easy to see the SEC is a notch below the big 3 Big ,ACC and Big play a different brand of ball. It's been that way for years top to. Ottom. Good thing is this year it's really wide open. There's 20 teams that can legitimately win it all. We're just outside that group IMO But solidly in the dance

The SEC-Big12 challenge showed that the top SEC teams can play with anybody. The rest? Not so much. The litmus test for this team will be how they fare against these teams.

Currently 1-2 against the rest of the top 4. With 3 games (2 home, 1 road) left.
