Is the Lockett Hall parking lot the worst possible parking lot to park in?

Had some friends park in that lot for Miss State game...said it was brutal getting to I-10 after the game. Do you basically have to wait for all the other parking lots along Dalrymple to empty out before you get to go anywhere?

heart of campus, saw some idiots just trying to drive through the thousands of people trying to leave early. in that instance, leaving early means you sit in more traffic. What do people expect parking there when so many people walk through there to get to the outskirts where they parked.

Probably.....Folks need to realize it's much better to park on the outskirts of the campus and walk. I park on the northside around the Kirby lot and it never takes me more than 10 minutes to get to the interstate.

you have to watch where you're parking now depending on which way you're going...contraflow governs all (good idea, but a couple of maps would be nice)

i was in lot 408 (new Alex Box) and wanted to cross Nicholson to get over to touchdown village...SOL, I had to wait until I could head toward River Road and get over to Skip Bertman and South Stadium....

My ex parked in the lot between the Indian mounds and Lockett, and it took her 2.5hrs to get to Brightside. She had to go downtown and get on 110 before going home. Basically, you either wait for contraflow to end, or you don't park anywhere on the interior of campus

The parking deck is THE worst. Hands down. It was terrible last season and worse Saturday night. Anywhere from interior campus trying to get out on Dalrymple or E Lakeshore to Stanford is horrible. Took us 1hr 15min to get from that deck to Acadian.

Why in the fck is Dalrymple not just flowing constantly with the contra and the cops shoving everybody up onto I-10? It was motionless.

The Levee lots suck really bad unless you are going towards the Casino. Nicholson from Gardere and beyond is a cakewalk.

Anywhere that close to the stadium (heart of campus) is going to be bad. Parking by Peabody is going to be just as bad.

Probably not...I'd say lot 301 (Or whatever is underneath the East Upper is the worst.

But those who park there should know they are paying for convenience of being closer to the stadium...not for ease of exiting.
