Hope not but he got absolutely destroyed on that play. I mentioned last week he was pushing the limits with his scrambles and needed to get down or out of bounds quicker and stop taking unnecessary hits. I'm sure he has learned his rather painful lesson, but I hope he's good to go.

The worst about about that was he had already given himself up. Once you start the slide you're untouchable (the ball is also placed at the beginning of the attempt, not where you're down for fairness). He was opened up on twice, both once he was basically already horizontal. Those were two dirty hits. I was proud it didn't stop Danny from being fearless later on in the game. This may be some of the last football he ever plays (doubt he makes it to the League). Gotta put it all on the line now.
