Put me down for Good thing. I don't think the defense passed the eye test. I don't care about stats, Alabama did what they wanted, Florida scored a lot of points.
I don't think he was doing anything, or could do anything in the future (next year) that anybody else couldn't do.

But, he certainly was nothing to write home about.
The only "bad" is how it might affect recruiting(to be determined) and the fact that this is two DCs in a row that have popped smoke. You have to at least WONDER if there's something to that. Maybe so, maybe not.

and look how they improved from the year before last. using unsituational stats to judge a unit is not accurate. do you even remember how bad chavis' defenses had become? do you remember getting butt stomped by both auburn and Mississippi state the year before. AND Alabama AND Arkansas. how about the D tanking against Notre Dame. that's 5 friggin games that proved to me our D in '14 sucked. you can quote all the damn stats you want.

Good thing IMO. Although we did "well", we should've done far better with the players we have on D. So slightly underperformed.
Miles will right the ship and find a quality DC.
Offtopic - still not sure why everyone is crapping on O getting promoted. At the very least, he could pick up the recruiting void from Steele leaving.

My sources at LSU have told me Coach O to DC. Should be announced next week after the 1st.
