Is LSU BB an NCAA tourney team

I say no, not yet. Need to improve and need consistency, especially from Quarterman AND Simmons.

Do not compare Tim Quarterman to Ben Simmons.
Simmons scored 16 with 18 rebounds while struggling with the flu. The day Tim Quaterman gives that effort is the day LSU wins the tourney.

All the "experts" keep saying LSU will be judged on their record with Victor and Horsby which is looking good at that moment. Still a long way to go. They need to beat the teams they're supposed to beat and take care of home court and they'll be dancing.

Need to go 13-5 in the SEC to guarantee this. 12-6 would require Tournament wins.
I said 13-5 pre-seaosn. If LSU does that and can actually make a run in the tournament, I see a 7-seed.

In 2011 Alabama went 12-4 in the SEC, won the SEC West, beat Kentucky and beat tourney team Georgia TWICE and did NOT make the tournament. LSU's situation now is still pretty dire in spite of the good wins they've had in SEC play.
