Is it an appropriate time to say I miss Chavis, or wait 'til next week?

How has A& M's defense done against those teams?

Why don't you include Mississippi State and Auburn? Chavis wasn't perfect. People act like he gave up 3 points a game but he was always good for getting blown the frick out about twice a year

Chavis knew what was to come and got out when he could.

John Chavis is the negatiger's Caliph.

Chavis left us with thin depth and key positions and even last year his D gave up more points in a game than we have this year..

Think about that. Chavis also had one of the most shitty defenses in 2013 when we had our best offense.

Chavis was great, but he relied on elite talent. When he had a young team, he was nothing special.. and that shouldn't be an excuse.

Any ways, our defense still outranks theirs. They are really bad at stopping the run. Our defensive recruiting is far superior without Chavis. One of the most important parts of D is having quality depth. We don't have enough great players to rotate in this season and it caught up to us in physical games.

Are you really comparing A&Ms recruits to what Chavis left behind at LSU?

FYI
2015: A&M vs Arky, Moo St, Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn
21 pts, 17 pts, 41 pts, 23 pts, 26 pts

2014:
28 pts, 48 pts, 59 pts, 35 pts, 38 pts,

looks like LSU and A&M are going in opposite directions defensively to me

the front 7 is in its current shape because of Chavis.

Chavis' D isn't really all that complex, it was about having superior talent. But he didn't want to put in the work to supply his D with those players.

A&M has more talent on the defensive front than we do.

Not in scoring defense which measures points allowed per game.

Agree!! GFYS! Despite it maybe being Lee's last game, the faggies are about to get pounded.

Fournette is going to expose that Aggie/Chavis D. 200+ yards.

It is appropriate.

He may have been a poor recruiter, but he was a hell of a coach.

His coaching with Coach O could have been a perfect combo

And while he handled the change with little class, it looks like he was right to be concerned about the stability
