He has really good stuff but does he have the stamina and the number of pitches?

He started several games as a freshman last year. I think he would be better for us as the closer next year

Thanks. Why wasn't he considered for a starter this year. Walker just beat him out?

He was the 4th starter early on, but he was more effective out of the bullpen.

he might get a shot to start early next year but if somebody steps up after Hess and Walker I think Dunn and CPM want him as a closer. There will be a lot of turnover in the pitching staff in the bullpen also and having your closer set is a good start.

Bullpen needed more depth.

He's always been a 5th starter candidate and will start when needed.

Walker and Hess need to get starts they'll be the backbone next year.

I like Gilbert a lot...always have. He has been really good this year.

Beck has been a most pleasant surprise. Has to be earning PM's trust with how he's pitched.

I was thinking, Walker, Hess, and Beck as your starters and Gilbert as your Closer

Peterson may be in the starters mix in '18 too.

If LSU gets Blayne Enlow he's also a power starter

Cole McKay came in with a lot of hype and was disappointing last year and I know he's been hurt this year so far. Does he have any chance to make any impact this season or even next year?

How good are our chances with him not signing?

If he does this year think of Jake Latz 2016 it'll be slow progressions of 1 inning stints.

Enlow is a top 100 overall prospect as is Storz another power arm, both are high risk high reward signs. 50/50 on both making it to campus.
