Close to 300 yards passing for 2 straight games.

Much better on 3rd down conversions.

Overall, much more fun to watch.

...and it's only going to get better. Next year should be fun!

Without question. Opposing defenses aren't stacking 8-9 men in the box because they are starting to respect Mett. This helps out every aspect of our offense: the line doesn't have to worry about being over-manned, the backs have more room to run, and Mett has less pressure on him.

The oline came around finally and started giving Mett pass protection he did not have earlier in the season, injuries contributed to this a lot to the line...

now Mett is getting the protection, feeling comfortable in the pocket, and is able to look at his 2nd and 3rd WR if the first read is not there...

this has contributed big time with the execution of the offense plus the receivers are not dropping as many passes keeping drives alive...

I almost JIMP whe Danielson pointed out Mett looking off the safety with his eyes. We haven't had a QB do that in 5 years.

according to some, its ALL about play selection. call the right plays and success is guaranteed.

LSU still has 3 football games remaining in THIS season. It's always great to look ahead but NOW is just as important as tomorrow/future in terms of development.

For example: Look at Ala. game w 51 seconds to go and our offensive effort.... almost zero yards in 2 minute drill. Jeeeez!

Now spring forward just 1 week and look what LSU does w 51 seconds left (albeit 1st half and not 2nd half - but still a situation to learn from). LSU drives down the field and scores a TD!

Offense is national caliber. Very, very FUN to watch. Geaux Tigers! !!!!!! I'm expecting LSU ro hang 50 on Ole Miss. Just have to keep improving. I'm sure going to practice is fun for the offense now.....

I feel like Oklahoma now Our receivers still need to catch some of those balls though. Overall, it's been VERY fun to watch.

We need to do something differently in the red zone. Find the TE, use more crossing routes (rubs, picks) like everyone else does, etc. We have to finish drives!

I have felt better about the offense since the Florida game.. more so each and every week.

That drive before the half for a TD was very telling!

the play whee Mett overthrew Chase Clement was probably the most beautifully designed play LSU has run all year.

This offense has all the tools, and now its starting to cash in.

If Porter can slide in for PJ next year, and Faulk comes all the way back from his injury, this Offense is going to be an absolute FORCE next season.
