Is Cam worth keeping to keep Franks and other recruits?

The biggest reason I'm pissed with Miles is he's letting this shite show happen with the potential GOAT recruiting class incoming.
If Cam goes, so does Franks. I'm worried about some other recruits too.
Should we keep Cam for next year, to see if Harris continues to improve and while we have Fournette? One last year for a title run and to keep the recruits?

regardless of who we recruit at quarterback, the talent will be squandered

frick no. Harris is a 4-year guy anyways.
also who else on our recruiting class would leave? Campbell will stick as long as Grimes is around. We're the only team to stick with Dee Anderson with his off the field antics, so I doubt he bails. Coxie is a sleeper.
This class is basically 85% defense (as it should be), so it'd only be a cluster frick if Steele and O left.

Regardless LSU will be middle of the pack sec team until Les is gone. We can get the best QB in the nation every year and the #1 recruiting class every year and still lose 3-4 games a year. Les continues to hire his friends instead of good football coaches. But to answer your question. Does it really matter? Franks will be just like Harris, put in bad situations and zero coaching. So if we lose franks because of Cameron so be it.

Franks is likely gone anyway.

No Franks and no Patterson.
No Patterson because Miles let his brother walk away to be the Assistant Director of Recruiting at Ole Miss. Yes, that's right. Sean Patterson is not even on the coaching staff for the Black Bears! He's in the Recruiting Department.
So, we lose the number one QB recruit in the country because Miles can't find a spot for his brother on the Staff at LSU.
Send Ensminger to Admins and let him coach TE's.
Still not too late to fix the problem.
Send BDP packing (That's a no brainer) and hire Sean to come coach Special Teams. Since we all know that Baby Patterson wants to stay with Big Bro, he'll most likely change his mind yet again and come to LSU.
Patterson to LSU. Franks to UF/FSU. Problem solved.

Cam is worth keeping because he's a good coordinator with a history of developing great QBs
He was criticized in Baltimore for passing too much and not getting the ball to Rice more. Does that seem like the same issue here?

I've heard these same arguments for keeping BDP.
Except that one could easily image BDP posting some of those arguments..

It's unfortunate that a lot of people are once again pretending that our next big QB recruit, Franks, is the next Tom Brady. Harris was as good of a high school prospect, and you can't say LSU could not have lived without him. Franks is a 4 star for a reason and he's not even close to be being so important that we have to revolve the world around him, like making staff decisions.
Just like JJ, Jennings, and Harris, Franks is overhyped, not the savior, and very replaceable.

First, this shows a lack of understanding of the nfl. The qb success rate is very, very poor and he's hit on 3 and now maybe 4 franchise qbs. Their early years of development make or break them.
Also, not really true, but i would expect young QBs to play better with more experience. Drew credits him with his development.
Drew's best year in SD and one of the best offenses in nfl history at the time occurred under him. He had a 104.8 QB rating (3rd best of his career) with 27 TDs and 7 ints in 2005
Flacco had a 93.6, 80.9, and 87.7 passer rating cam's last 3 years. 73.1 the next year...
Rivers was under him for 2 semi seasons of play. 92 QB rating (22/9), then 82.4 (21/15) the year after he left

AT LSU, OC's come and go but nothing changes!!!! SO IF U WANT A CHANGE keep CAM and get rid of Miles or it will be the same ol shite/// The poster that printed that Cam was fired cause he threw to much RB's ,TE's, ECT. is CORRECT

It's best for Franks college career that he go to UF or FSU, but it may be best for his NFL career if he gets coached by Cam. Cam is not the problem. Everyone blaming Cam is absolutely delusional. How after all these years and coordinators can you people not understand it is Les Miles. His OC's at OSU all said the same stuff before Les ever made it to Baton Rouge.

You sound like a over reacting little bitty 20 year old know it all. Continue losing 3-4? Lol. Check the records little kid. Also...I lol when I see all blame on the coaches and zero on players.. Lol. Sounds like you are highly intelligent.
