Saw him play. While he is good, it'd be foolish to say he's better than the King. In time, he may.

They both play similar but he is not on lebron a level right now. By similar I mean both are athletic forwards who can pass and handle the ball, that's where the comparisons come from.

He is about 10 times better than a Lebron in his prime

Well it depends on what stage you are comparing the two. High school Lebron vs.High school Ben Simmons would be a great matchup. So to say Simmons is not better at the HIGH SCHOOL stage, well it depends on what you like.

Do you mean when Lebron was in high school?

I haven't seen him enough to make the comparison but the hype is no where near what surrounded Lebron in high school so..

I think it's fairly obvious he was talking about at the same stage in their careers

Obviously I'm comparing him to high school Lebron...How many of you who think this is laughable have seen either one play in high school???

I was in Chicago the day after the NC St game sporting my LSU hat and was approached by someone in my hotel lobby who claimed to be involved with college basketball recruiting for a living. He also claimed to have seen Simmons play multiple times and made the Lebron comparison.

As usual, the rant is the last place to bring anything encouraging about LSU sports...

He's awesome. But he's not Lebron.

That said, a lot of scouts and analysts have said he's the best non post player since a Lebron. He's that type of prospect.

But he and LBJ do have similarities. Both are unselfish players that can pass and make everyone around them better. Simmons is a complete player they can score, rebound, pass, and plays great D, similar to LBJ.
