Is Auburn pretty much the key?

It seems like our season will hinge on the Auburn game, and with the way our defense shined in TS last year.. Things are looking up.

I think if we win that game, the west is pretty much ours to lose.

I always say if LSU can stay undefeated after Florida then they will make a run for it all. This year is no different.

So you're just marking us up as a W @ Moo State & Dak?

Nope. I see where you are join with this, but nope. LSU is the key. At the end of the day its LSU that stands in its own way and holds the key to have the want for victory know matter who they are playing.

Aubie is much more daunting than state is IMO.

I'm a lot less worried about state with Beckwith on the field.

On paper lsu should beat msu. Just like last year. How many thought they would come to tiger stadium and whip our arse?? Msu will be a tougher game than most on here think. Auburn scares me BIGTIME. They are going to be hard to stop. Getting into a shootout with them would not be pleasant.

Auburn will be tough but we should be beat them in Tiger Stadium. I don't think it's the key to our season, though.

If anything, it's Alabama. If we go into Tuscaloosa undefeated or with one loss and beat Alabama we will have a lot of love in the polls and a ton of momentum.

Sorry for that run on sentence.

I am, count me in as predicting a 10-17 point win for LSU on the road. People are overestimating Miss State in a big way, and underestimating the fact that they return only 7 starters. Even teams like LSU struggle mightily when they must replace a large number of starters, and Miss State doesn't have near the level of talent. They don't simply "reload"....they rebuild.

In addition, I don't know if you paid attention, but teams started to figure out how to play Dak towards the second half of the season, to at least contain him. There is a reason he didn't go pro last year, and it ain't because of State pride.

As long as you keep this stance, then we are good. The moment YOU start saying LSU will win easily, then we are in big trouble.

LMMFAO. I'm not saying they won't have a good offense, but they return only 4 starters on offense....for ANYONE to predict they will be unstoppable.....is laughable at best. You have no idea what they are going to look like with all the new playmakers starting.

Our key isn't any opponent...it's our QB play. We know AJ can't get the job done so the question is...can anybody else?

I'm predicting a win by a minimum of 4 touchdowns against state.

With 4 returning starters on offense and 4 on defense...Moo U. will resume their place in the cellar of the SECW.

Auburn is too early for the whole season to hinge on it. There's so much that can happen between then and November either way.

A team with a QB making his 3rd collegiate start and 1st road game of his career in Death Valley. Jeremy Johnson will experience something similar to what happened to Harris at Auburn last year. The key to winning the West lies once again in T-town

We will handle State...will run it down their throat. Catch Aubies early and that's a good thing. Green QB's get ya beat on the road.

And it's early in the season. Auburn under Gus doesn't really start rolling until later on in the season.

Mooooo State & Dak will not be what they were last year. Bookmark this post, write it in stone, post it in the morning Advocate. We will beat the living shite out of Mississippi State this year. With or without Harris and with or without Dak.

It's happening.
