There is an LSU Alumni Chapter in KC and we will be flying the LSU flag in the general admission parking lot adjacent to the field.

There may be more of us there than Mizzou fans.

St. Louis is definitely 2 hours. I was thinking of KC to Jeff City for 3 hours, maybe 5 minutes less.

I live in Kansas City and I am making the two hour trip to Columbia. There is an LSU Alumni Chapter in KC and we will be flying the LSU flag in the general admission parking lot adjacent to the field. We will only be there for the Saturday game due to Easter. Come join us!!!

Takes about 2 hours to get to Columbia. About 3 hours to get there from KC.

KC to Columbia is about 120 miles (+/-). I-70 @ 70 MPH the whole way. Drive time is under 2 hours.

I'm trying to work on my plans as well. I want the Mizzou fans to crap themseleves when they see a real fanbase show up.

Considering the weather in Columbia lately, this weekend calls for highs in the 60's and sunshine, not as bad as it could have been for this series.

Greetings from beautiful Columbia, Missouri. I have to begin by paying homage to your program and fans and I mean to do this in a solemn enough manner to satisfy the masses. Though I have never been to Alex Box stadium or whatever, I have heard that it is extraordinary. If you get 1,000 fans for a midweek game it is apparently a "bad crowd." That is tough for this Big XII baseball guy to get used to. This SEC concept is strange.

Now I need to make one thing clear. Crystal clear. Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field isn't an easy place to play. I am sure it is antiquated by SEC standards. The South Carolina fans that I spoke to a couple weekends ago sounded like they were not impressed but honestly I don't speak authentic Carolina gibberish so I wasn't completely sure. What we do have is one fan in particular who is arguably one of the most intimidating fans in what was the old Big XII North. I have provided a link involving this man. I warn you though that this isn't for the faint of heart. This man is as feared as Blackbeard was in the Caribbean Sea so you have been forewarned.

Mizzou Superfan

No, if we only get 1,000 fans to a mid-week game, that is called a "rain out."

Blazing Saddles fan, instant cred.

Can someone point this fool in the direction of the K Lady? The Mizzou Superfan would cower at the sight of a yellow jersey tucked deep into a pair of mom jeans doing the fiercest chicken dance you've ever encountered.

We make one road series a year + Omaha if necessary. We looked at this trip and, like you said, it was just too much trouble to get there. We'll be back in Tuscaloosa.

LSU plays at Bama the weekend of their spring football game. I'm not going, plus I refuse to spend a dime in that state.

St Louis and KC are about 2 hours from Columbia and easy drives.

Did this K Lady not appear in the LSU/Stony Brook Super Regional last year? Frankie Vanderka did not seem intimidated.

Haha. I'm just joshing you all. I have tons of respect for your program. Perhaps if the stars align properly my beloved Missouri Tigers can find a way to take a game or two in our series. I wish all of your fans safe travels in their journey to Mid-Missouri.

I'll be sure to have a drink out of one of my Harpo's cups to celebrate LSU playing Mizzou this weekend.

I would like to make a trip up there though.

Are you doing a Coaches Commitee Q&A this week? I have a question about how we'll handle the 2 mid week games next week pitching wise.
