What did the rant think about the total dick and disrespectful questions asked by the espn guy (name escapes me)?

Do you think about what team you'll be with next year?
Why don't you shoot more 3s?
Do you work on your shooting?

Etc.....

I found it awkward and out of line.

Simmons handled it very well, and the guy proceeds to trash Simmons after he leaves and is called out by the other guy.

Basically admitted to trying to bait him

I thought the same. It was very awkward and the questions seemed dickish

That's just how Buccigross is. How his interviews always go.

I don't think he asked about "his shooting" as much as he was asking if he works on "shooting 3 pointers".

Regardless, it's good practice for Ben in handling many future head scratcher questions.

It was Buccigross and it was very odd and borderline unprofessional. Bucci is fantastic at calling highlights, but that interview was cringeworthy and I felt bad that Simmons had to subject himself to those sorts of questions.

He needs to get used to it b/c there's no holding back once he joins the NBA. I also thought the questions were a little bit awkward, but Simmons handled it well. You can tell he's been trained very well on how to handle the media.

In all my years of watching basketball though, I've never seen one college basketball player being interviewed so much. Simmons gets interviewed exclusively after every game.

With regards to the 3 pointer questions I thought it was a great response by Ben. Confidently said something along the lines of, "I don't feel that anybody can stop me from getting to the basket."

His answer was a 9/10. It would have been a 10/10 if he also mentioned all of his teammates who can drain a 3 at any point and him going to the basket gets them open if his shot isn't there.

Probably a little too long winded for a post game interview, but I see no reason for him to attempt many 3's with those two points being accurate.

He did well, and Buccigross wasn't totally terrible until after the interview when he started shite talking him a little. Don't be scared, Bucci.

It was at the end of the game before Simmons left the court. If ESPN has a replay of the game on their site, just go all the way to the end.

Maybe someone else has it record and can post.

Found it...won't let me link.

Go to espn app and go to "news". Scroll down about 10-20 stories and the interview is posted. "Simmons focused on clooege, not NBa". Something like that.

Guy talks a little about the game then goes into...so how are you enjoying college".....then goes into the NBA/3 pts shooting bs.
