Landry, Jaquish, and Doyle and Sanchez went a combined 0-13.

I never ever would have even imagined us winning with a stat like that . That's incredible and is a HUGE confidence booster for this team.

Also Springfield got unlucky and missed another extra base hit in the 6th inning. She now has 10 homeruns on the year! Let's give it to all these players who stepped up and carried our seniors. It was refreshing to see.

I'll have a preview of Super Regionals up by tonight

Good stuff.

Players meshing and getting hot as a team similar to the bottom of the lineup for our baseball team.

Go Tigers.

I don't follow softball but watched the game last night. Does Bailey Landry always square pull back then run up to slap at the ball. She does not swing away-- struck out 4 times.
Can anyone explain that style to me.

Yes, she is a slapper. That's a style of hitting that can be very successful in softball if you are a contact hitter with good footspeed.

Pay no attention to her Ks recently - she has been by far our best player all year but has been in a hellacious slump the past few games

Exactly and has the ability to stand and swing, when called for. It was amazing to see the offensive output from players not named Landry or Jaquish over the last three games.

Griggs was amazing. She has been a different animal since the move from slapping. Serrett had an awakening at the plate after a deep lull and Sanchez had the best game of her career to help us get through McNeese.

It was really great to see a few of the players that many (including me) have questioned come through and push us to the Supers.

Great team effort on offense and Hoover was magnificent. Our defense was still not great but when you are this good in the circle it can overcome alot of hurdles.

Way to go LADIES!!!!!

Congrats to the Tigers.

I stayed out of the regional threads since one, I'm out of state on business, and two, I have degrees from both LSU and UL and I'm contemptuous of the idiots on both sides that come out of the woodwork for playoff softball, as well as the Johnny-come-latelies.

Bring on Florida State. I think we have a chance to return to Oklahoma City.
