Didn't take it that way no worries.

Patterson already cleared the air. He contacted Miles through their same agent and gave Miles what he really said this is old news. Patterson was obviously trying to unmotivated LSU!

Well, through my first few posts I was really hoping for some sane, logical, reasonable football talk. Those hopes flew out the window real quick though. haha

Now this is the type of logical and realistic discourse I've been hoping to find. Haha

Even though Hill is not on an official suspension, I don't think he plays this game anyway. Miles will "suspend" him for at least one game, without actually giving him a formal suspension. We don't need Hill to win this game anyway.

Les has taken the high road

Which he will continue to do. The article mentioned "an interesting post game handshake".

It won't be. Win or lose, Miles walks across field, shakes Coach Patterson's hand, and tells him good game, and good luck with the rest of your season.

that suspended player for TCU broke a university rule, so the higher ups suspended him.

Anyone know what he did?

He may be back on the team but is he ready to play after the long layoff? LSU should be OK with or without him.

It didn't matter what Patterson wanted, that suspended player for TCU broke a university rule, so the higher ups suspended him. It was out of his hands from the beginning.

Isn't this what happened when TM was kicked off the team? Some of you give Miles way too much credit as a tough disciplinarian.

A lot of people who aren't emotionally tied to the football team see Les as being weak on discipline. Only a handful of posters on this site see it differently.
