I'm sick to my stomach with all this

This whole thing has been a complete cluster frick from top to bottom. The Governor is involved? School President shutting down a done deal? Miles needed to go this year, especially if we had Jimbo in the bag. I've been in the military for 9 years and haven't lived in LA since joining but I never changed my place of residence and continue to pay taxes to LA because I have pride in where I'm from. I know that LSU football grew to prominence because of politics (Huey P.) and now politics is fricking it away. frick this shite.

None of this should make you sick. Even the players aren't agonizing about this like you are, and it impacts them much, much more than it could ever possibly impact you.

Everyone in the stadium was manipulated into thinking it was a farewell game. It looks like a cheap publicity stunt in hindsight.

How about maybe everybody over exaggerated the situation and believed all of the "sources"? Was probably a simpler process than people wanted to think.

How about the AD never really was interested in changing anything because the money is rolling in. The threat of people not paying to see Miles drove the whole situation. So you pretend you will replace him, dont follow through, create artificial ground swell of support. And in the end no one has to take any risk and pay to keep the money coming in.

I'm guessing that is sarcasm. People don't pay to see Miles. They pay to watch the players play.
