So tired of ridiculous Curley Hallman comments! We are not promotion a coordinator! TAF wasn't running the show back then, etc. nothing, and I mean nothing is the same as it was then! Stop being scared to strive for more than mediocrity!!! This is such a liberal way to look at a coaching situation.

I am afraid the Les lovers forgot the bad times. If they remembered them they would want him gone because we are headed back with him here.

you are so right Revelator... most of these young punks who piss and moan so much about Les should have had to endure dickheads like Mike Archer, Curly Hallman and some of the other "coaches" we old farts have had to put up with in the past...all Les has done is win 110 games, second only to Charlie McLendon who had 137 wins in 17 years in a conference that could in no way compare to the competition Miles has been up against...I agree Les should go... TO AD of one of the best sports organizations in the NCAA...Les is a TRUE Louisiana ambassador and very capable of furthering the top-notch status of the state and the Ol' War School. So he can't beat Nicky Satan...so f'ing what...how many other coaches in America can? !!!!!

many of the posters on here have never personally experienced losing at LSU, and it can change ones perspective.
Unfortunately, yes. It can make one satisfied with mediocrity as long as we don't have six straight losing seasons. It's sad that a lot of our fans use the worst period in our history as their reference point. Use literally any other time in our history and no way do the last few years satisfy you.

If there was any indication....any at all.... an iota of hope.....a glimmer of promise that Miles could right this ship and change his O style, he probably would be keeping his job. Most ppl simply believe he is incapable of this at this point.

An entire generation of LSU fans have been indelibly damaged by that dark decade. Even to the point of thinking we don't deserve to be a contender. Sad. Self-hate is the worst kind because it can NEVER be educated away.
