I'm afraid that some of the Les haters are too young to remember bad times

In between Les Miles tenure and Saban's stay here, we've had 16 years of winning football at LSU and 2 National Championships. I'm afraid that lots of posters in here are too young to remember the Mike Archer and Curley Hallman days at LSU?
And I'm not here to say so much whether Les should be let go or not, only that history proves that the wrong hire can be both painful and prolonged.

I remember those days well. And I don't really want to go back to them. That's why changes need to be made.
Or would you rather wait until an LSU coaching change would only draw local media attention?

We used to suck so let's accept our inevitable fall back to mediocrity. Makes sense

You mean the days before handheld cellphones, the internet, tv remotes, etc....
Get over your crappy years. If you think LSU is still the same program it was back then, you are just senile.

Yes, the last coach that lost consecutive games to Arkansas by 17+ points was Curley Hallman.

I'd rather be young and ungrateful, than old and satisfied.

What I want won't factor in to what LSU does. It was simply an observation that some posters are too young to remember the lean years and think that winning at LSU is a given.

Okay cool. Let's just stay with mediocrity then.

I'm old enough to remember the 80s and 90s. What do you think 3 straight butt whippings is? Les has barely been 500 in the SEC these last few years. He's incapable of turning it around. Keeping Les would only keep us mediocre.

What does the era of less technology have to do with my post?

Your assumption is that LSU would certainly keep sliding under Les. This is only a guess.

It's an educated guess.

Can you dumb asses please all post this same crap in one thread?

How many:

Don't remember the 1980s-90s threads?
shite show threads?
No coach can live up to fans expectations threads?
Better have a home run hire to replace a winning coach threads?
LSU shouldn't expect championships/isn't a championship culture threads?

Can the admins reel this shite in or is it just going to continue. The ONLY and I mean ONLY people posting this crap are Les Miles fan boys.

THE PROGRAM IS FLOUNDERING RIGHT NOW!!! LSU LOOKS EMBARRASSING BAD!! LES is not a great coach. He took over a good situation and did a good job for most of his tenure here, but now his weaknesses are exploited, and if allowed to continue for fear of changing or fear of the media or fear of the 1900s, LSU will return to mediocrity.

Thanks I'm glad history tells us a bad hire could be a bad thing. Here I was thinking a bad hire would be great.

Do you remember those years when a winning season or a subpar bowl was reason to celebrate? I do!

That was like 25 years ago, you caveman. This is not the same LSU program and the only people that can't see it are mouthbreathers like yourself.
