If (when?) we fire Alleva, who do we go after?

I know very little about athletic directors. I don't really know what they do beyond hiring/firing coaches, and I definitely can't name a single athletic director besides Joe Alleva off the top of my head. So, if/when Alleva gets axed, who are some guys we might go after? I looked up a list of athletic directors sorted by pay, and noticed the guys and Michigan State and OK State both make a lot less than Alleva, and seem to be running some competent sports programs. I'm sure some of your guys are more informed on the matter than I am though.

Scott Woodward is going to be a popular name.

Raiding those two schools has been very, very good on the past.

There will inevitably be sexier names that will come up, but I want Herb.

Scott Woodward
Dan Radacovich
Herb Vincent
In that order. Any of them would be a great hire.

I imagine Texas A&M's AD and Clemson's AD as they have heavy ties to LSU already.
Just read that Scott Woodward (Aggy AD) hired Chris Petersen at Washington. Not bad.

It's way more than that. I don't know Dan as much but I was around the other two as a student at LSU and they are smart, dynamic people. They just have "it".

Vincent
Woodward
Radakovich
That's my preferred order. All would be great hires.

Verge Ausberry.
Verge would have flown to Houston and wouldn't have left until Herman signed on the dotted line.

Woodward
Barnhart (Kentucky AD)
Vincent
I am sure that there are at least a few more that would all be good choices.
Not Radakovich.

Seems to be a common theme here. So, can somebody tell me why we want Herb Vincent?
