I say 6.
In the same likeness what seeds will we get if we
lose immediately.....prediction 10
win one and lose in semis......prediction 8
win two (which means probably beating kentucky) and lose in finals.......prediction 7

I agree with most of that. Might be a 9 seed with a 1-1 showing

I think we get a 7 if we win it, 6 would be a HUGEEEE jump from a 10. Good possibility committee screws us and we get an 8 though.

As long as it's not 8th or 9th. Staying at 10 would be optimum for this team to have a chance to advance. (6 is kind of high even if we win it, which I highly doubt)

If we won SEC tournament we most likely beat unanimous #1 and undefeated UK.
That would be pretty big.
I just want 1 win though.

Sounds about right, we'd get a big boost from beating UK. I want to avoid the 8/9 game for obvious reasons, but that also gives us the best chance to play in Charlotte where I can see us in person, so there you go.

Man if we beat undefeated Kentucky, I will beat my meat

I'm from Louisville, and all week the UK fans have been telling me they are gonna lose to LSU second round because Cal doesn't like the SEC Tournament. They are terrified

The way this season has been I would just worry about getting the first win instead of thinking about winning the SEC Tournament for now.

Win - 6
Lose first game to A&M - 10
Lose first game to AU - 11
Go 1-1: 9 seed

That would require 3 wins in a row wouldn't it?

4 or 5 seed if we win the tourney. We would have beaten the top 8 teams in the league plus have 3 possibly 4 wins away from home against top 25 RPI.

On another note, why does LSU historically play so poorly in the SEC Tournament?
Last Championship: 1981
Last Championship game appearance: 1993
One of my first memories of LSU Basketball was in 1987, when we lost to Auburn in the SEC Tournament, 100-62. Auburn doubled us up at one point, 72-36. That same team went on to advance to the Elite Eight.
In 2009, we were regular season conference champions, yet we lost in the semifinals to State. That was probably our best shot at winning an SEC Tournament title, but we mailed it in due to the fact we were a lock to make it to the NCAAT. 2000 and 2006 were also disappointing finishes as well.
I am real proud of the 2003 team (8-8 conference record, #3 West) that upset Florida in the Superdome and came up short against a more physical State team in the semis.

Without being a bracketologist, a 5 or 6 seed seems like a reasonable guess to me. We'd be a hot team with recent wins against consensus #1 Kentucky as well as ranked Arkansas on the road. To win, we'd also likely have to go through another tournament team in either UGA or Arkansas. With a run like that, we'd definitely be on a hot streak and might even be able to break into the top 25 if they put a new one out before the start of the tournament. From a math standpoint, 96% of the top 25 should be a 6 seed or higher.

5th. The upset of UK would be a huge boost to RPI plus probably another win over Ark in the finals. My prediction is winning in the QF and losing a competitive game to UK in the semis. Hopefully that would keep the Tigers at 10th and out of the dreaded 8/9 hole.

As I see it, there is no scenario that gets LSU an NCAAT seed higher than 8. If we beat A&M or Auburn tomorrow, that will not lift us up from a #10 at all. Beating UK might get us to a #9.

I'd say 6 as well
IMO, if we'd get to UK and beat em, I would fully expect to lose the final. Thats just how this team rolls

As long as it's not 8th or 9th.

You misread. The scenario is losing to UK. If you defeat UK and probably Arky again in the OP's scenario, you jump past 8/9 to 5,6 or 7.

Odds are so against us considering LSU hasn't won the tourney in 34 or so years.
