Doesn’t their QB have an 80% completion rate? Danny barely has 60%

Stidham is completing 71%. That's some serious rounding up. He has 7TDs and 2 INTs. Etling has 6TDs and 1INT. Stidham has thrown for a lot more yards and Auburn has a lot of rushing TDs.

Kerryon Johnson has 12 TDs already which is ridiculous.

Our LBs and safeties need to have gap discipline when defending the run. Fortunately Stidham is not a threat to run.

Are you serious?

Miss St, Troy and Florida had their second best rushing performance of their schedule, vs LSU. The later two are ranked in the 70s in rushing offense, yet ran all over LSU. Auburn is ranked 22nd in rush O, and they have played TAMU who is ranked 29th in rush D, and Clemson who is ranked 14th.

LSU isn't going to get pressure on Stidham, as per usual this year. LSU isn't going to be able to stop a rush offense with a pulse, as per usual this year. LSU is going to continue to run a 4 play clown offensive scheme with an average at best run game and horrible QB.

I guess it's going to take another homefield beating for you to realize this season will be really bad.

We are two weeks away from being embarrassed by Troy.

Your guy Orgeron said he isn't ready for the SEC. Last I checked Auburn is in the SEC.

I have a tendency to agree with you, but Stidham has to be pressured. No pressue on Stidham, LSU loses. But If LSU can rattle him and arranda throws at him some disguise blitz packages with pressure from his blindside, It will be a ball game. Stidham is a meh Qb in the league if pressured.

But...In tougher competition, LSU hasn't pressured a QB all year. With the exception of a few times and White sacking Fippy, Franks could of played with his ball sack and still got throws off. Stidham would burn LSU on short passes all afternoon if that is the case.

not really. What QB has LSU pressured against decent competition. I probably should reword so no one cite the BYU game.

We're 6th in the country in total sacks. And through 6 games, our 20 is the 3rd highest of any LSU team.

Don't act like our defense doesn't pressure the QB.

14 Sacks were against terrible teams. There were 5 sacks in the Chattanooga game. They have won one game. 3 in the BYU game. They have won one game. 3 in the Syracuse. They are .500 game. 3 in the Troy game who btw lost to South Alabama whom is in the fetal stages of even having a program. Yeah they had some sacks in the Florida game, but Franks had all day to throw. He should have been sacked 11 times that day. But I will take sacks in the Florida game even though that Florida team is the worst I ever seen.

How Many Sacks did LSU get against State???

One.

And just how bad did Auburn beat State? 49-10. But Hey 3rd highest in school history through six games.

So if you want to beat your chest on those 20 sacks, be me guest, but when LSU played it's toughest opponent of the year to this date, they didn't do crap. And we all know that State isn't that good.

Yeah against terrible teams. Nothing to beat your chest about especially considering LSU only has one sack against a team that beat them 35-7 who was beat 49-10 vs the team that is playing in the Valley Saturday.

And Auburn's OL is pretty good. I know they had their issue with Clemson but Clemson's D is pretty stout and they are the defending champions that imo would beat Bama again this year. And Auburn's offense has progressively gotten better. Goes back to my OP. No pressure on Stidham, LSU losses. One sack vs state. One sack and lack of pressure on Stidham, he will throw underneath the zone all afternoon.

I worry most about Petway. We we couldn't tackle that Roy state RB it's going to be a major challenge to tackle him.

They haven’t played decent competition.

Last week though, they had 5 sacks and 3 hurries.

If a frog had wings it would't bump it's arse every time it hopped.

Seriously. We have a shot because its auburn and its at home. We still have the talent on the field to get it done. But nothing we have done so far this season should get our hopes up.

Auburn avg 7tfl a game. U better be able to convert 2nd and 3rd and longs. We can't. What those 3 freshman will face is not like what they have seen so far. We need clapp & Brum to dominate n run blocking and for Someone hit auburn up the gut early and often. Let's hope DW & DG are healthy enough. If not it's time for a healthy nick B to redeem himself. Lsu D getting no love at home should fire them up. Aranda, Raymond, our secondary, Devin and RL should feel disrespected and come out on fire.
