If we finish 5-7, and retain Orgeron, what will attendance and ticket sales be next year?

LSU fans have gotten used to winning, and more than that, are charged out of the arse to attend games: parking, tickets, traffic, etc etc.

This isnt the 90s were we were expecting to have bad teams and the cost of games weren't outrageous.

If we go 5-7(or worse) and retain O(which I realize is likely) I think the attendance next year will be atrocious. People arent going to put up with the cost and hassle of going to games when they know the team has no hope from the start.

Saying they would go down drastically would be an understatement, or at least attendance.

There hasn't been since the 2015 season. Just like the mines under Casterly Rock, they've run dry.

No there isnt.

There is a list to sign up for to generate revenue. The entire list got tickets if they wanted them this year. First year that has occured that I know of. There was season tickets available to general public this year for 1 day.

lol

After season ticket relocation and claims were made in 2016, you could still purchase season tickets on lsutix.net, without paying a waiting list fee, or prior TAF fees, and you could claim them under your name

Much of the same this past year

The only reason to hire Orgeron was his recruiting ability. He's recruiting a lot of 3 star players which is no good. Miles always landed 4 stars by and large. If we finish 5-7, we need to fire O and Alleva, and stop the bleeding. Not doing so could set us back 10 years.

I am not lying, that if we go 5-7 and retain O, we are looking at a 60-70% full Tiger Stadium from the start of games.

Maybe it would be a good thing and we can purge these bandwagon fans that came in after we started winning who leave at halftime every game.

No, I'm not implying that 5-7 would be a good thing.

My family has had season tickets since the 70s.

My cousin played QB for Curley and we went to every game home and away.

I then played for lsu

We are anything but bandwagon. But if this season continues as it is, and we keep O, I wont be at the games next year

This issue with the lack of depth on the line is largely attributable to recruiting under Les. Recruit big uglies and this will get right.

This narrative has been wrecked.

I have been going to games since 96. Not sure how that is bandwagon. I'm not going through the 98 and 99 season again while having the current shite tailgating environment and high fees and parking costs that was nonexistent in 1999.

Plus now we can watch the games at home if we want as well. Something else not offered in the 90s

Look at the bright side, it will be a perfect time to put in for an upgrade.

I’m not paying thousands of dollars per year, just to have a spot in the stadium, to watch a grease fire.

I’m also not donating to TAF or any other booster related initiative again until Alleva and Orgeron are gone.

I know a lot of folks in a similar boat.

The next year will be a great time to get bumped up in your seats if you can stomach the cost associated with this disgrace.
