A. Fire Miles today
B Fire Miles at end of season if record is 6-6 or worse.
C Keep him. No coach could win in this division with poor QB play.
D Force him to make coaching changes.

I love these threads. If nothing else, it proves that most posters do not have a clue on what an AD really does and look at the job with the perspective of an underinformed fanboy.

A isn't reasonable nor is B. He goes 4-8 this year run his arse out on a rail.

Resign as AD and go find a job where I don't have to make any changes due to the job I inherited. But at least the stadium looks nice.

as much as lsu has under preformed this year, i'd give him another chance to change coaches, schemes, etc...

He can have is 1-7 sec ranking this year, but that's it...

Now if Michigan comes calling, i am a listening and i'd start a kickstarter for his buyout

however if there is no improvement or hope in 2015, then B after that season.

I don't want to be the AD who leaves LSU with a huge bill to pay with Miles' buyout.

I let it ride.

Who is our can't miss, 10-wins a year replacement? I still haven't seen one that can come in and be consistently better.

Fire Miles

Sets a great precedent. I'm sure coaches will be beating down to door to go to a school where you fire arguably the school's all-time most successful coach following two bad SEC losses.

No tangible improvement by the end of this year? His seat should get warm. Another stinker next year? Send his arse packing.

B. but force him to make some coaching changes if we see no improvement on defense. If I see improvement, Les gets one more year to turn it around with the knowledge that if he doesn't, we WILL be fired next year.

Any action right now would be premature, especially when you consider that as the AD, the next coach you hire would be on you. That said, I'd want to see improvement in our play toward the end of the year. If there's little to none, then D. If Les follows it up with another down year next year, he's gone.
