If Trent goes to UTAH who would you like to bring in as your next bball coach?

I'm hearing that there is some strong interest for the Utah job by Trent Johnson, especially with them joining the PAC-10/12 next year.

I really think this could get interesting. Especially with Trent's lack of success over the past two years, plus he is from out west.

If he does leave, I think LSU should go after Scott Drew from Baylor (his dad used to be an assistant at LSU with Dale Brown) He is a great recruiter in Texas and seems like he would be a good fit at LSU.

I just don't see this guy leaving Baylor for LSU. We would have to throw the bank at him.

He is only making $700,000 at Baylor. Trent is making almost double that at LSU. Plus Drew is a lot better recruiter than Trent.

Drew is dirty. This is well known. I don't want him anywhere near this program.

Didn't know he was paid that low. Yeah, LSU can do a lot better than that. Trent makes double that.

REALLY?

Ive never been a Tim Floyd fan, and he is a native of Mississippi. He could do a good job though.

Do you LSU fans prefer a older more experienced coach to a younger up and coming coach?

Floyd vs Drew?

Not really. Probation for like 10 years is something that really killed the program. We've had a couple of good seasons, but not the consistentcy we previously had.

Scott Drew isn't as dirty as half of the current SEC coaches.

Steve Lavin would be my choice along with Mike Anderson, but they're both pipe dreams. We missed our chance on Lavin and he ain't leaving Madison Square for Baton Rouge.

But either of those 2 coaches would turn us around overnight. No questions asked, no excuses.

I wouldn't want Tim Floyd. His time is over.

I would definitely be OK with Scott Drew.

Im not so sure that Lavin is looking to leave St. Johns after one year, and if he does LSU will have to pay him $2million +
