For IU, yes
As a candidate at LSU, no

"Crean is average."
Even if he is average that would be an improvement for us.

I think we've had enough "nice guys" in the athletic department.

So we don't want someone who took over a dumpster fire and won the big 10 twice and has a final four appearance? Our fan base is delusional. If he would consider LSU you hire him on the spot.

He finished in the top half of the Big Ten 3 times in 9 years. Even LSU has been to the Final 4 since the last time one of his teams made the elite 8.

Indiana has unreasonable expectations.
Sort of like LSU Football?
Maybe... but our basketball program is just like Texas football... a dumpster fire.

We should contact kobe bryant, Shaq, or charles barkley

Musselman has been fired a couple times as well yet a ton of people still want him here for whatever reason.

Crean had 3 good seasons out of his last 9 and he just got fired. That is exactly what LSU doesn't need. You just need to stop posting about basketball
This issue is you're an ignorant pussy that thought Johnny was good and would go 11-7. Shut your fricking mouth when you talk to me, boy

Typical elleshoe response when somebody points out your lack of knowledge about the game of basketball.

I think he would be a good hire. And as for everybody else Indiana will get their choice before LSU.

He just got fired bc he wasn't good enough but he's a must hire for us?
Not good enough at Indiana would give God like status at LSU. Don't confuse the two situations.

I think he would fit right in at LSU.

Crean would be an outstanding hire for LSU. Anybody who disagrees doesn't understand (a) basketball, or (b) LSU's position in the pecking order of available jobs.

He may be average , but he is way better than what we had......
Posted on 3/17/17 at 7:26 am to Elleshoe
If we hire him, I'm going to crean in my jeans
Posted on 3/17/17 at 7:30 am to Elleshoe
LSU needs to find their basketball niche. I have no idea what it is tho. Early entry fricked up what I used to know.

Us hiring Crean is the same fricking mistake IU made when they hired Dinardo after us.....
The results that Crean had at IU are the results we want here. How is that not a ducking red flag for y'all?

If Creans last 6 years looked like this, I would want him
Made the tourney all 6 years, a final four run, a couple elite 8s, and 1 first round exit
That would be IU firing him for unrealistic expectations
The fact is, he missed the tournament twice in the last 6 seasons, a first round exit, and his furthest run a sweet 16
So, for us to be happy with the Crean hire, we have to assume LSU is on equal footing with IU in terms of basketball resources and recruiting
How can y'all not see this is the same freaking think when IU hired Donardo. IU liked the success Dinardo had at LSU. However, they learned quickly the difference in programs
