We will be in trouble! The only good thing at least here in Thibodaux it doesn't seem to have any lighting with the cells coming through. Not sure how it is in BR.

Lightening will be an issue throughout the day but should clear up later in the evening. A delay would not be surprising. Places like Mellow Mushroom, Walk Ons, Chimes, Varsity, etc are going to be PACKED tomorrow during the day but you bet your arse I'm going to get me a free daiquiri from Barcadia!

75% from 1-3 and then tails off to about 30% around game time throughout the night. Certainly looks better than it did early this week

eta: good thing we just bought a 26x16 tent for the tailgate

Yeah lets hope that it tappers off as we get closer to game time because there is a ton of rain out in the gulf right now coming straight up our asses still.

Almost looks like something is wanting to form south of Lake Charles in the gulf if you look at the radar.

some lightning and thunder when first cells rolled in around 11:00 am this morning in Zachary just north of BTR. Not a lot of lightning since but some there. I live close to the HS where they have a lightning detector warning horn at the football field. Has gone off a few times this afternoon.

Rain won't matter, they will play in a monsoon
Lightning is the only issue

They're saying only a 10% chance of development on weather channel.

It's an SEC game so it will be played at some point, even if weather/lightning doesn't allow it to be played tomorrow night.

It hasn't rained in BR since about 2. Not sure what you're talking about.

IF, LSU would actually utilize their giant scoreboards to "officially" tell fans....game starts at...."IF no more lightning is detected"
INSTEAD, they allow the various radio announcers claim various start times ! LSU determines this NOT the radio people ! Letting people stumble around Tiger Stadium w/o announcing ANYTHING...is bullshite !

It's raining in BR right now and has been for hours. I just dropped off a trailer on campus and have been driving all over BR since lunch and it's been steadily raining since about 2:15
