IF and I mean IF anything hurts Bama it will be the combination of losing several coaches (KS, MC, LK) plus lots of junior and senior players. They will probably have a RS freshman as QB.

1 - if you have ever been to a Saban practice in its entirety you would see that the man stands in the secondary and coaches DB's and LB's the entire practice. He is clearly running the defense for the entire team drill portion of practice.

Around 2 or 3. Saban is the mastermind on d and it's silly to say otherwise.

for us the right hire will make us or brake us, for Saban Coordinators come and they go the results don't change.

I don't think losing Smart will hurt them that bad. It depends on who else leaves. My "sources" say that Cochran is going to UGA with Smart and call me crazy but I think losing Cochran will hurt a lot more than losing Smart.

It's going to be very similar to 2012.

We'll be at home, they'll have just lost a coordinator (or two), and a lot of starters (especially on defense).

Next year will be the year to get them.

s bad as losing McEwan hurt them. In other words, none.

Yep, they still have Saban and his ability to 'coach-up' their talent...
