I say keep him where he is comfortable. In my opinion Lange hasnt done anything to lose the Friday night start.

Hell no. You do realize that Lange is our best pitcher right?

If you had one game to play and you had to win, you go with Lange all day. That's not a knock on Poche AT ALL...they are just two completely different pitchers, but both great at their own game.

You realize Lange struck out more Friday than Poche has in both starts combined right? Lange can win a game almost all by himself. Poche depends more on defense, which will never be a problem if we play solid defense behind him or don't run into a super great hitting team.

Hell no, not a chance! Unless Lange goes bad or is hurt. What do you think will happen if a change is made, please enlighten us?

Why are we so enamored with who starts on Friday? It always changes during the year due to some series starting on Thursdays, weather issues, and other unforeseen events. Who cares who pitches which game....

He'll be the Friday starter later in the season. Against Ole Piss and MSU most likely.

Here's your answer from Bull Durham:
Crash Davis: I told him that a player on a streak has to respect the streak.
Annie Savoy: Oh fine.
Crash Davis: You know why? Because they don't - -they don't happen very often.
Annie Savoy: Right.
Crash Davis: If you believe you're playing well because you're getting laid, or because you're not getting laid, or because you wear women's underwear, then you *are*! And you should know that!

I wasn't trying to make it seem like a large gap. I guess it kind of came off that way. Both are great pitchers, but are very different.

Still....all things equal, and you have to win 1 game Lange is your guy (unless you are playing a team with 8 lefties in their line up). But you really can't go wrong either way.
