Have him commit early to LSU then flip to Bama on signing day.....
Just kidding, I would hope he was a confident young man, who served others and pursued his goals aggressively. I would discourage him from being a jockey.

son if my son was that size I'd be making sure he develops some ball skills and shooting touch and I'd put him on the basketball court. Im not trying to pay tuition for him you dig?

True confession:
I intentionally phrased the post just to see the different directions folks would take it. Would they automatically assume it was a boy (ha)? Would the normal size responders question their spouses fidelity? Would folks assume basketball power forward vs. potential left tackle in football? Would it be an "I hope they just grow up with their head on straight" as opposed to a ticket to money for the family?
Congratulations- we got just about all these in just the first few responses!

Probably have to give him a history lesson to explain why Ole Miss is the only team handing him bags of cash.

Put him on a diet. I would know if he is going to grow more. they can tell now, by looking at the ends of bones.
I would make damn sure he gets into a decent engineering school. no matter how good he is at his sport(s), injuries happen, and carrying 315 at age 16 is a lot for the body.
Since he's my son in this story, he's going to score high on the SAT/ACT and he can do every math problem they throw at him. His command of the English language is sufficient to converse with people at all levels of society.
I think I would buy him Rick Barry's free throw video. a man child that size will get to shoot a lot of free throws. He's going to be 6 10 or better.
