If Miles unlikely leaves do you trust Aleeva to make a good hire?

I do not for some reason.

I think he might go after big splash and not the right guy. Of course I also don't think just any coach can come in and keep lsu running on autopilot. Some coaches could of course but they are locked into other programs. I just don't think this would end well for lsu.

Book the LSU Jet to Boise State with a blank check on the passenger list only...

Boosters will steer him to Chip Kelly and make him an offer he can't refuse.

You better get to Boise before Texas does.

Lsu would show up in a G4 or something and Texas would probably send a 747 full of money.

I think he'd make a good hire and get LSU a good coach but he won't make a great hire and get an elite coach like Les Miles.

Don't you already know? LSU is now a "beat-down-the-door" job. I heard a couple of people on the board say it last night.

Top notch coaches with options to pick any available job are just lined up waiting to compete in the toughest division in college football. They want the challenge of "path of most resistance" to the national championship.

I just hope we don't have to cross that road.

Not sure if serious.

Regardless, I would trade Miles for Kelly in a second, no hesitation. Imagine what we could do w/ Chavis handling D and Kelly handling O? We'd be unstoppable.

Chip Kelly would be an idiot to leave Oregon for LSU.
