I'm pretty sure all of those were smokescreens, as this Ole Miss one is likely as well. He probably tells the AD "Don't hire me. This is just a courtesy so I can keep spending LSU's money..."

Yep. It's like a guy on welfare that has to go to atleast one job interview a month to keep his welfare, he purposely bombs the interview

3 pages and no mention of his flirtation with Arkansas a few years back that helped him get a little raise?

Now he's considering Ole Miss when it would guarantee a game vs us every year?
remove your lsu homerdom for a second and consider this. You're clearly an LSU alum. Let's say you coach USC for ten years and win them a NC, but get fired for plateauing midway through a season. Get no offers the remainder of the season, and through the following offseason...

until UCLA's coach gets fired for calling escorts ( ). You're telling me you wouldn't consider the UCLA job just because you spent 10 years at a school where the fans spent the second half of your tenure calling for you to be fired, saying you don't know how to coach, etc..

You wouldn't try to get that seven figure power five job just because of loyalty to a school that gave up on you?

give me a break. i wish Les the best wherever he ends up, but he owes us nothing.

He's always been like a wet rag----flips & flops & moves where the current wants him to go.........

Saying that, he does own a good nose---that sucka can smell a money trail 3 miles away......

First off Les just played for the national title and won the sec. He was due the raise imo. But the people in charge are the ones that agreed to the extension and buy out. They are the reason LSU is on the hook for that. Plus Les wasn't going to Arky, and if it really was to get a raise, then our bufoon AD got bitched around once again.

I am positive that LM nor any of us give a flying frick about you losing respect for a man trying to secure himself a job in a "Power 5" conference

Well that's just plain dumb of you to say this. Who gives a crap where he goes to coach?
well 80% of posters here still hate saban for taking the alabama job after he left the nfl, but it would be ok for miles because it is an sec job

80% might be under estimating it and I will never understand the logic.

LM will never get another job coaching elite level college football. He was and always will be a shitty coach. School ADs do what a riot on their campuses, which is what would happen if that goofy arse LMs was hired as head coach.

Let me get this right, we fire him, but believe he should not coach at OM? Your hypocrisy truly knows no boundaries, does it?

Guess you lose respect for every former boyfriend that dates another girl after you dump him and get another man?

Les turned down Purdue. Les wasn't a good fit at Houston considering offensive strategies. FAU wanted Kiffin bad from the start.

Thanks for the clarification then. I honestly thought he was passed over for all 3.
