Guy's he was only a Two star. No way he's NFL starter caliber.

Yeah, the 2nd string fullback is gonna run for 1400 yards. Hester only got to play this year because someone got hurt. He likely will return to the bench.

This is absurd...did you see him play in any of the chargers games this season?

+1

I'm a Hester fan as he won me over with his gutsy performances in a Tiger uniform...but NFL starter he is not...I am sure glad that the Chargers realize he works his butt off and reward him with 10-15 snaps a game as well as special teams duties...not a bad way to make $1 million a year..but take off your purple and gold glasses and stop thinking a 4.6 guy at best will be an NFL star

I sincerely believe that having hester in the fold makes it that much easier for the chargers brass to trade LT.

Not so fast. Sean Merriman should be back from surgery and word is they want to switch him to RB.

Everyone on here is sooo closed minded. Who would have guessed hester would have rushed for over 1100 yds in the SEC. 1400 in the nfl is nothing for this guy.
