Discussed this very thing last night while watching the game. It was LSUesque.

BS. I will defend les here. he would not have done that. he and Mett would have known what to do. Miles caught enough heat after the ole miss game and learned.

Y'all fricks act like Miles would have played for the touchdown towards end of first half. We would have played for the field goal.

Georgia's wasn't that big of a mistake, if at all. I can see the rationale for pressing the issue with the play you want to run without allowing Alabama to talk it over on defense.

Les has had some whoppers by comparison.

and yet you make a fool of yourself on this board as well eh Gerald.

they had to go hurry up that whole damn drive. them recollecting themselves for a shot at two or maybe 3 plays is better than putting all their eggs in one basket for one last hurry up unorganized play. you know nothing about football or politics.

Don't be your usual stupid arse.

Murray and his receiver knew exactly what they were doing. Looked like a good play call. Spiking the ball would have allowed Alabama to organize on defense, too.

Georgia didn't lose because they didn't spike the ball. They lost because Alabama made a good defensive play... which might have happened after a spike, too.

If lsu had done that may and holtz would still be talking about it. the dogs should have spiked the ball twice on that drive and they would have won easily. That said ND would have a field day against the dogs defensive front.

The ball was tipped. Murry knew he had to throw to the endzone. The guy who caught the ball was not the intended receiver. It wasn't an issue with clock management. I did question why Richt called that first time out however.

How many people think LSU could have actually drove 75 yards in 60 seconds with 0 timeouts just to be in the same position Georgia was?

There would have been 6 seconds left on the clock if the WR doesn't catch the pass.

spike makes it 2nd down with 14 seconds at the 8

please. guarantee you Les calls the spike there. If LSU is in that situation

I'm not arguing with you, just saying Georgia would have had time to run at least 1 more play. 2 if they run a quick pass on 2nd down.

ok. I'll see you that and add with a spike maybe 3 passes into endzone with 14 seconds left

you have to spike it on first down. google eyes started the clock as players are still moving. HAVE TO SPIKE
