If LSU hires a coach that scores in the 4th quarter, people will stay longer

Let's face it. Tiger Stadium is strong in competitive SEC matchups, but has been underwhelming during non-conference and gimme games since Les has been here. If the next coach continues to play in the 3rd and 4th quarters against inferior competition or during dominant performances, people will stay. Les started the trend from day one. It wasn't fun to stick around all game during his tenure because of the boring and delicate way he treated opponents. And of course people will leave when LSU is getting blown out of their own stadium. I think that will change soon, and LSU will be more profitable because of it.

People will not stay.....for whatever reason LSU has always had crappy fans that will not stay the entire game.....drives me insane....really pisses me off.....you are not a true fan if you do not stay and support the team the enire game!!!!!
Last night was a perfect example by the 3rd quarter the stands looked like Swiss cheese......really embarrassing for TV.....what needs to happen is.....if you leave early....you should be put on a list and banished from tiger stadium....never to return!

LSU scored in the fourth quarter last night. People still left. New coach, new offensive philosophy, fired up players. Everything they claimed they wanted to see, and they still left early. I've seen people leaving with two minutes left in a nailbiter with Alabama. People will give any excuse, but the real reason is many of our fans are lazy, entitled shits.

Honestly, it's a main reason why most schools prefer NOT to play night games at home. If you're driving in from Shreveport (or any place with a non-trivial drive), getting stuck in traffic adds major time, having to get a hotel adds more expense to the trip, etc.

I'm not suggesting we go away from our tradition, but it will always be an issue for night games.

And if we eliminated night games entirely, people would leave because it's too hot, or the sun was in their eyes, or some other lame reason. Stop making excuses for them. Yeah, they can do what they want with their ticket, but they ought to be publicly shamed for it.

What a total dumbass you must be. No way you have season tickets either. It's always the "fans" that don't even contribute to the team that act like super fans.

If the game's outcome is not in question, people are always going to want to get a jump on traffic. Not just at LSU.

This is not new. Been going on forever

I don't have season tickets. I work or am on call most Saturdays and live over 4 hours away. But those one or two home games I'm able to make each year, I'm there until the final second ticks off the clock even if it means I get home at four in the morning. No, I'm not a superfan, just a better fan than the snowflakes that leave right after halftime. At least stay until midway through the fourth quarter. Or sell your season tickets to someone who wants to stay for the whole game.
