Troy loss was an absolute embarrassment. But it also served as a catalyst for turn around. By no means am I happy with the loss, but I don't know if we beat FL or AU without it.

I don't think so. They were not playing LSU football. It was gut check time after that loss, and LSU responded with 2 big wins.

We watched those boys turn into grown men in two weeks. There was some old school LSU defensive swagger out there.

It's a valid question.

Let the season play out, then we'll see if lessons were actually learned or if we're just a rudderless ship that happens to find the right course from time to time.

Florida maybe, but not auburn.

By every metric there is we should have lost yesterday. Remove the sense of having something to prove that you got from Troy and AU comes in and cleans house.

Great question - I think losing to Troy made CEO a better coach by letting go of some old ghost - we shall see

This is why I'm on the fence. We'll know the answer after the Ole Piss game.

I would! I'd smother myself with brown mustard and relish. I'd be so delicious!

This. Yesterday late in the second quarter, but Morris in the second half was the first time all season I had faith that our D would rise up and get off the field in critical situations.

Sometimes teams need a big loss to wake them up. As much as it sucked losing to Troy, it was probably needed, and it could turn out being better than another SEC loss depending on how the rest of the season plays out.

Didnt hurt having NFL players get in their faces on sidelines.
