Because he hasn't had a truly shitty season here. Our down years are .500 in SEC play. Not great, but still respectable looking at the body of work.
Chizik was hot shite for a bit. BOMBED
Sumlin was hot shite with Manziel. Under .500 in conference post-JFF and making more than Les.
Malzahn was hot shite his first year. 4-4 last year and 2-6 this year.
Closest guy to compare to Miles? Richt, and he hasn't exactly lit the weak SECE on fire.
Not saying Les should be at the helm going forward, but his case to keep his job isn't exactly hopeless.
