This said by Frank Wilson about La'el Collins performance of late..............especially against Ole Miss. Truthfully, this entire O-Line is now the dominant force we expected it to be at the beginning of the season. Watching them bludgeon Ole Miss' "top defense" into submission on Saturday night was a thing of beauty. Can't wait to see them against Alabama!

Fournette, Collins and LSU DOMINANCE

LT is a premium position in the NFL. Oline in general

The way Collins is playing lately, I think it will take a catastrophy to keep him out of the first round. Dude's a stud

He held his own against RN. I saw him get beat a few times but I believe RN will be playing on Sundays as well. Collins should be a 1st rounder.

Of the starters, Alexander and Hawkins are eligible to leave and very well could. I guess porter as well but that would be highly unlikely.

Really hope we aren't replacing 4 positions. Hawkins and Alexander would be great together on the left side.

Most of our successful runs are on Collin's side.. furthermore, teams know we run the ball.. analyst have to be drooling.

I think we are losing probably four of these guys. But, although I can't remember their names, we have some great recruits sitting on the bench right now. It would be great to be able to bring this line back next season though.

But again, watching them against Kentucky and Ole Miss has been beautiful. I have a feeling folks are gonna be surprised how easy they open up running lanes in two weeks.......................

Two and three weeks into the season, tRant couldn't stop talking about how terrible the O-line was and how it was beyond fixing. LOL

Only thing that may hurt La'el is he may not be seen as a LT in the NFL. I personally think he would be an excellent road grating right tackle that still holds his own in pass protection.

Not necessarily. He's already know as a top notch guard and has already shown he's more than capable of playing outside. Even if he's not seen as a LT, guards are being taken in the first round much more frequently... a position everyone knows he excels in. His versatility only helps him.

Yea, he's probably gonna get a look at both positions. He's in a great position to go in the early rounds for sure!
