For starters he recognized that Prescott shouldn't be playing fullback

I laughed.

But seriously, I think we should go even younger and maybe further out the box. I like Fuente at Memphis. Would be willing to consider Kingsbury.

I think our next coach needs to be a younger, up and coming type.

OK, I'll give you that one. BUT, I'm hoping that the idea is that we improve beyond just "better than Miles".

Didn't UF make a run at Mullen to come back and he rebuked them? I can't see him coming to LSU if that's correct.

He had issues at UF with the AD or something. That played a role in whether he'd ever return there.

For starters, the candidate does have to live in Baton Rouge. That cuts the list down significantly. I mean - really guys, think about some of the names you're throwing at there, and then think about why they hell they would move to baton rouge over say, idk Southern California, Florida?

Mullen would fit right in and is a great coach IMO. He's done a lot with what little he's had to work with at MissSt

And why does he have so little to work with at MSU? Notwithstanding what a shithole Starkville is, Mullen's simply not a very good recruiter. He's good for one blue-chipper per year and a bunch of leftovers. I don't believe that improves significantly with a change in venue.

Kiffen has failed twice. He is a coordinator...its what he is great at. Plus he has some personal issues that give me pause.

Has to be better options out there.

this isn't really a day to be taking up for Miles, but he didn't say this nor recruit Dak to play fullback. Miles comment was that Dak looked more like a fullback the first time he saw him play.

Didn't realize this. He has been around for awhile. Could actually be a really good hire.

He knows the SEC West

Wins with half the talent dunderhead Les has

Took a brute running qb and turned him into a nice throwing qb

Was the offensive brains at Florida, when he left it went to shite

His teams are excited to play and ready to play

All he needs are better players which he can get here

Oh, come on. MissSt is the second best school in Mississippi. Not to mention, the talent pool is much smaller than Louisiana.
