Harris was just in the wrong offense here (Well among other issues), he was never made to be put under center and take 5 and 7 step drops reading defenses with receivers running many different routes with options on those routes.

He's a shotgun spread guy who needs to get mobile and make mos this throws downfield to receivers running simple route trees, not 5-10 yard touch passes.

I dont think he'll ever be an accurate short range passer, because he just lacks touch completely...but I also think he still would have been horrible in Canada's offense, because of all the decisions/short touch passes you need to make in it. That's right up Etling's alley, and he was always going to be better in that offense than Harris. For Harris to have a chance at any success, we would have to run an offense similar to Herman's.

So because Herman is interested in bringing him in means he's automatically their starter???

Even if he does play for them he needs a change of scenery bc he was mentally lost here.

Harris isn't even as good as Jordan Jefferson. I would not want either of them.

It does suck since brandon and etling have about the same production with brandon having more upside. Pray that danny improves this offseason.

Keep in mind that Harris would instantly improve due to the B12 defenses he would be facing. He had a pretty good game vs. TX Tech.

Texas Tech's D is horrible even by Big 12 standards

If he's going to Texas, cool! I wish him well, and the Longhorn Nation. I hope Coach Herman can coach him up to a possible NFL sniff or two and maybe a late round draft opportunity.

It's clear that some people just can't stand the sound or sight of Brandon's name. You got "your" guy. He's leaving. No more reason to kick dirt on the young man.

I think O had done his best recruiting work with Harris and Malachai Dupree. More to come!.

Miles and cam destroyed Harris...the dude has talent, just lost his head. So in that sense, he did get a raw deal.

I hope he lights it up where ever he goes.

Were Harris and Dupre part of O's recruiting class? Wasn't that during the transition phase?

Been three years and still can't spell his name right. Put some "respek" on Dupre's name!

Harris has always had the arm strength and speed to play for any team. His issues came from mental lapses and mechanics breakdown which lead to Poor accuracy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Herman turn Harris into an All-Big12 player.
