You should be ashamed of your self to ask the players to sign dozens of autographs for you. I watched one idiot have Nola sign at least 20 items. They must be selling this stuff on eBay. They should only allow kids to get autographs not grown men with a stack of posters. Get a life and real job

Nobody is putting a gun to Nola's head making him sign all that crap. If it wasn't a kid I'd tell him to frick off.

Regarding getting stuff signed so it can be auctioned for charity, those autographs are obtained totally differently vs the adult shills hanging around the back door of the locker room. I was at a fund raiser Thursday with a silent auction and there was a football autographed by all three of Auburn's Heisman Trophy winners; Pat Sullivan, Bo Jackson and Cam Newton. Not an Auburn fan, but probably got some good bids. And there was a certificate of authenticity to go along with it.

I agree with your post.

Do people really pay money for stuff signed by college baseball players? at them.

If there is a buck to be made, people are always going to do this kind of stuff. I'd guess the school would give the players some guidance about this stuff like what to look out for, etc. I guess they don't want to come off as arrogant and people take advantage of that.

The only autograph line I've ever stood in was billy cannon's thing in Dallas for the LSU/Oregon game.

I had like 3 cannon heisman edition magazines and a billy cannon Halloween shirt autographed.

I got me a generic autograph magazine, got one for my uncle and one personalized for my son. Along with his personalized shirt.

Quess what, I would have gotten more for more of my friends and family had they not announced a limit a few people ahead of me.

Now, did I need to get them that? No. I could have gotten 1 magazine. But I was for peopl and not ebay. My 2 year old son will have stuff now that there was no way he'd wait in line for.

Can't speak for all grown men wanting autographs. Every magazine, ball, card, etc. that I have autographed is cool to have and all, but its all going to my son. I don't sell anything.

To the people that are going to exploit it for money that's pretty pathetic...but to the people who are just in to collecting memorabilia a signed Aaron Nola ball from the night they dedicated the field to Skip would be a pretty cool piece to have I would think.

Don't have one single autographed anything. I don't ask for them.

Well I do have a poster with Dennis quaid and Jessica Lang from when they did a movie at my business.
