I'd prefer Belk.

Shreveport is just bad, bad, bad for the brand image.

Plus, I live close to Charlotte ... and the fricking game last year vs. SoCar got moved.

The Independence Bowl hasn't been an SEC bowl since '09.

ETA: Didn't realize it came back to the SEC fold this year. Here's to good times in Caddo Parish.

come on guys, they're both shitty bowls that are an embarrassment compared to what we thought we had at the beginning of the year, and even what we had before the UF game.

I certainly want us to win whatever bowl we go to, but I honestly couldn't give a shite about Independence or Belk. They're both irrelevant to a program like ours.

I can remember a time when LSU fans were ecstatic to get an I-Bowl bid

Had a blast when LSU punked ND in the mid 90s ... if I recall, LSU wore the white helmets.

I don't recall much from that day ... it was cold, I was drunk, LSU won.

My husband camped out for 1995 Indy bowl tickets. Lol.

And Belk?? Does that UF coach still do their commercials??? Yuk.

The Belk released 3 sec teams on their list and LSU was not on it.

My guess is it will be Liberty or Indy with a loss.
With a win the Tax Slayer and Jacksonville would love LSU.

Rarely have I ever found anything to finish that sentence.

This is not one of those times.
