What happened to him? Last year he was as consistent as anyone. He's too good to be hitting about .250. Is he going to turn it around soon or has Javi ruined him?

It's tougher to hit without good Bregman, Rhymes, and Katz batting near you.

I think most of his problem is the same as Bregmans. They simply don't have the protection of Katz, Rhymes, and Jacoby this year.

If I remember correctly, he struggled mightily the second half of the last season. Seems like he just picked up where he left off.

I think it's because he got drafted in the late rounds of the draft after having such a great year. After that I guess he didn't work as hard.

there were a lot better hitters surrounding him so he got better pitches to hit last year. Raph and Katz and bregman mostly

Not to turn this thread into a debate about Jacoco, but he did have one of the highest on base percentages.
