Meh, 8-5 or 4-8 doesn't much matter to me. What matters is building your team to compete for the title. Patterson took his lumps and did that last year. And it should've got them to a title game this year. Les played it safe this year to ensure more job security, color me not impressed.

Patterson, in his 13th year at TCU went 4 and freaking 8. ...this after a 7-6 "rebuilding" season. With an 8 win season in the best conference in America, yall want to burn Les' house down. If he follows it up with a 4 win season next year, this place will have half the posters left on it. Ya'll will all have aneurysms.

Ehh they still haven't proved shite to me. Baylor refuses to play defense and patterson had one great season.TCU deserved to be in the playoff, but that's what you get without a championship game.

Patterson is a really good coach, but all this talk is easy after seeing his best team play. But he's been there a while and laid some turds. Worse than 8-5 turds in a worse than SEC conference.
Art Briles is too old and uncharasmatic to recruit at the level LSU has to. I dont think he could handle the politics of the gig either. Hes great at Baylor, but I beleieve he would be an absolute disaster at LSU
