They need to move it to the second game of the year. Alabama will get better as the season progresses, we get worse, and we will not go through 3/4 of the schedule with the false hope of making it in the playoffs.

we allowed ourselves to buy into this team as a contender this year. and we got beat into submission 3 straight weeks.
this team could have won the east this year but the west is another story. clearly, bama has surpassed us by a long shot and it appears that arky and ole miss has too although I don't think their success is as sustainable.
the way we lost those games is very discouraging. we were manhandled in the trenches.

It doesn't matter if LSU beats Bama. Bama can always pass the eye test and move past us.

If passing the eye test means they appear to be well coached in all facets of the game with a coach who responds to mistakes and won't except anything less than perfection, then yes, they would pass us.

if you're in BR and have a local bookie the lsu / bama game is the best betting opportunity of the year. Line is already inflated then the moron pumpers all pound cash on the Tigers, you could have gotten bama -5 this year locally when the Vegas line got as high as 9.

Agree that is the earliest you can start to think they are legit. For me it's one step further. They need to have the West clinched. Or they can get a new coach and the excitement and support will be back. Hoping 2016 is the last year we have to see Miles on the sidelines.

That less than .500 record in November since 2012 vs. the SEC West is impressive.
