I think Rickey Jefferson has the best shot at making a roster in Oakland

He just needs to beat out Trawick or McGill, and neither of them are worth a shite. . .and I think they are both in the last year of their contracts

We have guys that feel like they are around the team forever, but I was shocked this year when I realized it was Jefferson's senior year.

I think Dwayne Thomas has a better chance with the pats. His talent will be recognized quickly and they won't be afraid to put him on the field early.

I think Jefferson and Thomas will both excel, Ricky was really starting to come along and be a big time play maker before he was sidelined.

Each one of the free agents has a very reasonable chance to make an NFL roster. Half are likely practice squad to begin their careers. Dural, Thomas and Neal appear to be most NFL ready.

Desean Smith is the most intriguing. He is a very athletic tight end who was under utilized at LSU but had moments that showed his potential. He is the type of backup tight end that flourished with Saints who run an offense that caters to his skill set.

Colin Jeter is also a similar tight end but brings a more physical presence for blocking than does Smith.

Smith's workout was bad. I think Jeter ran a faster 40 than smith, which surprised me.

With the Cowboys' glaring need at DE, Lewis Neal has a great chance.
