I think Miles was convinced he was out last November

He was prepared to leave, and may have had another job lined up or close to being lined up. His retention came as a surprise to him. You don't turn down a guaranteed $4 million, so he didn't tell Alleva to shove it, but he had already checked out mentally, and once you do that, it's hard to check back in. Thus the lack of a paradigm shift this year.

It's hard to check back in for a $35-55k job... but for $4million? You check your arse back in real quick. Id also be more inclined to believe you if we didn't have 11 years of miles shitty scheming

He's stealing money from the athletic department while he's being lazy and stubborn. He gets his BBQ buddies contracts that make them the highest paid at their positions and squanders talent

He's a snake.

Did he ever "check in" mentally?

Paradigm shift? Were you really expecting that?

In 11 years and he hasn't fixed the inability to get plays to the huddle timely (hint: it's because he's overruling or arguing with the OC), and you thought we would see an offensive overhaul?!?

He didn't mentally check out, he's not a good coach anymore. Which is also why he should've been fired last season

Compared to the money the program brings in, Mile's salary is a small fraction of that and is underpaid considering the worth of the program under him.

The snakes are the people behind the scenes. That's who all the vitriol should be spewed at.

Let's not forget the 70k or so season tickets that were renewed. And what does LSU do? Take home games away so they can make even more money.

But yeah, Les is the snake.

Some of these same people tried to fire him with 3 games left. Changed assistants contracts, then basically unfired him because of their incompetence.

I will never understand why the administration felt the need to drag the football program down even further by giving him another year. That's why I have no confidence in them to hire the right coach. They've already been shown to be stupid.

Rantards and their black and white thinking. Miles isn't a genius, therefore he must be an imbecile. Miles isn't a saint, therefore he must be an ogre.

I can tell. Probably the same shameful pieces of shite who personally attack players after losses.
