Today we needed plenty people to step up on the bench. He came in and played great to sit back down and not see the court again. These kids will never get into a groove unless they see consistent playing time. He should have taken at least half of Malone's minutes.

Can't remember who brought it up initially but Epps looked very unsure on the defensive side. Almost like he didn't know what zone we were in at times

Epps playing defense with a blindfold on would have been better than Malone. He was useless.

Malone actuslly does a fair job at changing a shot on height alone. He also can pass very very avg.

Jones has decided he wants that more thab epps being completely lost on defense.

If epps ever figures a smidge of where to stand he will play

I was coming in here to make a post on this topic. Epps needs to be in there before Malone. Malone is hot garbage. Absolutely no threat on both ends of the floor.

Malone stands around entirely too much and doesn't engage on rebounding

It's horrible to watch

I don't think playing Epps at bud walton significantly is a wise move. I'd like to see him in the SECT though

He came into this season off a knee cartilage issue and had surgery last spring, probably stunted him in the offseason program. he's hasn't even dressed the last few games but was needed today and stepped up

I'm a big believer in staying with the hot hand. Epps drained a 3 and had a layup. Obviously was feeling good. JJ should've let Epps go a bit more to see if it continued.

Malone does not attack rebounds. He doesn't even attempt to leave his feet to get a board. He is always surprised when he receives a pass and is not ready to shoot. He is hesitant to shoot a layup and is eager to pass it back out.

Off my chest. Sorry.
