O inherited a more talented team than Miles? Lmfao I've heard it all now. Miles inherited the number 1 overall pick in the NFL draft the no 3 pick the no 5 pick the no 6 pick 4 other first rounders and 2 later round picks that have made multiple pro bowls and all pro teams in the upperclassmen alone. That's better than the 2000/01 Miami roster and one of the most talented rosters in college football history. This is proof that anti-O people like yourself are totally detached from reality. Btw do you know that recruiting rankings mean zero when comparing classes from different years. In other words guys rated number 1 from one year are not equal to the next. Examples Julio Jones was the no1 rated WR in his class the next year Rueben Randle was the no1 WR. They're not equal not even close, the same goes for Clowney then Nkimdeche both no1 rated DEs in consecutive years but not close in reality. Using recruiting rankings to create expectations instead of what's proven on the field is as ignorant as it gets so it's no surprise your lot treats it as gospel.

They both started 2-1 with a horrible loss no matter how you wanna spin it it's the same record. Ogeron hasn't had a bye to this point either so that statement hold no water and how the 05 season finished has no bearing on the first three games being identical in the W-L column. The point is they started the same with totally different reactions from certain fans which is the definition of double standard. Even now when you're allowed to temper the madness with the advantage of history you double down instead lol. It's illustrated by you giving paragraphs worth of excuses and context for the coach you prefer while at the same time prefacing every slight of O with the "I don't wanna hear any excuses" disclaimer. You don't give any real points or views you just spout double standard comparisons which usually can't even be connected. It's an obvious agenda driven narrative.

Its called catastrophe syndrome. Nick Saban diagnosed LSU with it in 1999 and its been in remission until a flare up in 2012. It is now stage 4 and malignant due to drama queen fans.

Wake up and smell the old Les Miles coffee. We quit being good enough to even think about competing for a SEC title beginning in 2012, long BEFORE ED ORGERON ever got to LSU. And Les never got us back to the former level of competitiveness. This is about rebuilding the team and the expectations and in case you haven't heard from the Oracle of Football - it's a process. It will probably take 2-3 years.

The expectation was the same last year and would still be the same if Les was the coach. LSU fans have lowered their expectations with a new coach which should not happen. Especially a coach who preached continuity when he took over.
LSU has holes but they've always had holes and they've made due.

Absolutely spot on. You have a bunch of bitches in this thread, likely little kids, that shite on O daily...they are down on you. Honestly, they aren't smart enough to make it to and from work, without help...assuming they have jobs. Anyone objectively looking at this team with injuries, suspensions, freshmen all over the place.....knows that this team is currently not nearly experienced enough to make a lot of noise. Not to mention, our two all-americans probably shouldn't be first stringers right now. I do think once we get a lot of these players back and the freshmen gain more experience, that this team could improve significantly over the second half of the season. That is the mark of good coaching. We shall see.

Funny, coming from someone who's paid to post pro-O propaganda here for the Ministry of Propaganda.
You're a joke, and everyone knows it.

Where did you see it was not an expectation to win the division every year? It still is for me!
O said it last week after the MSU loss. Guess the lowered expectations must have been an entry in the binder.

Which coaching genius do you want to hire ,and fire after his first early loss !
Posted on 9/26/17 at 10:17 am to tduecen
what do your expectations got to do with this ,running your head about the LSU coaches will only get you more losses and another coach you want to run off ! There are no magic coaches out there ,even sabin was looking at 40 tigers who would spend some time in the NFL when he showed up at LSUs locker room we made him a hero and we have been have making zeros out of our consequent coaches !

Lots of blame to go around, it appears. Just blame everyone associated with LSU athletics, would make it easier to follow the blame game.
