What I find amazing is the shameless double standards these people use at every turn. They refuse to acknowledge the realities of the situation no matter how obvious while at the same time using totally fake revisionist history to use as a comparison. Miles started his career 2-1 also Saban lost to UAB his first season but somehow not only is everything Os fault but his exact same start is entirely different and so much worse. Arandas defense has looked terrible but we know damn well he's a great DC. Canada's offense has been bad but we know he's a great OC. Now all of the sudden these coaches suck. Even though the common denominator is lack of talent on the line of scrimmage they refuse to admit we lack players. They constantly throw out these recruiting class rankings but dismiss and ignore the fact that literally a quarter to a third of the best players from those classes aren't even on the roster. Not only that but recruiting rankings don't guarantee anything. Look at Uga, Notre Dame, Miami and USC these programs have consistently had very good to great classes for a decade so where are their championships? There's a big difference between a talented player and a great player.
