Hey guys I'm coming from Ohio for the lions saint game so I figured I'd swing up north and go to the lsu vs auburn game. I'm just lookin for some cool people to pregame with. I'll be an lsu fan for the day! Who wants to be friend and root against the worst "tigers" in all of sports

Don't tie yourself down to one tailgate. Walk around and introduce yourself as a first time, out of towner fan and you'll get free beer and a variety of good cookin'

Tell them you want to know what LSU tailgating is all about and you'll be taken care of very well

Just walk around campus and tell tailgaters you're from out of town. You'll die of an overdoes of boudin and beer.

Are you a Lions fan?

Edit: if you've never been to New Orleans you'll love it. The architecture is like nothing you've ever seen. Just a different place.

Seriously, wear your lions gear and tell people your story and you will be well taken care of. Enjoy your trip.

Yes I am a lions fan. I'm on a mission to see all 32 pro stadiums. I'm in my early 30s and I will be traveling solo

That's awesome man. Like these guys have said though, just walk around and hang out with a bunch of people. The lions gear suggested above is a great idea to let everyone know your from out of town. When people know you're there to explore and see what the atmosphere is all about they'll take great care of you. Enjoy man.

indian mounds for some nice older people. parade grounds for the more rowdy crowd. everyone will welcome you like an old friend. i go to lsu and was with a few of my yankee buddies last home game (I'm from South LA) told them lets go hangout with a random tailgate and they thought i was an idiot which i usually am on gameday. we walked up and the basically forced us to make a drink. drank with these 50+ yr olds until 12am

How is tiger stadium set up. I've been to Miami and it's basically a giant parking lot surrounding the stadium. Is it like that or no

On Sunday, come swing by our tailgate at the Saints game. We tailgate in the parling lot connected to the Super Dome. You’re welcome to come eat and drink with us.

Definitely not. Are you going to be driving from NOLA with a rental and parking yourself? If so look at the parking maps on LSUsports.net

Nothing like Miami.

Below is the gameday parking map. Free parking is the purple lots. The ones close to Tiger Stadium will fill quickly in the morning. Depending on when you arrive you may have to park in the hayfield or levee lots.

Zoomable map can be found here: LINK

Parking can be a beast. Like others have said, get a parking map. You'll probably walk a good bit. This is probably the best home game we have this year but day games usually aren't as rowdy. Still should be a good one. Hopefully lsu can keep it close.
